Western world. Hair follicles in good condition are extracted from the back of the head (known as the donor area) and transplanted to the areas of the scalp experiencing hair loss (known as the recipient area).

Follicular Unit Extraction, also known as FUE, and Follicular Unit Transplantation, also known as FUT-STRIP, are standard operations.
The donor areas (often the back of the head) are used to harvest individual hair follicles. This method has the advantage of not creating a scar, even though hundreds of hair follicles are transplanted simultaneously.
This technique is distinguished from others in removing a strip of hair follicles (a "strip") from the donor area. These follicles are then separated under a microscope and transplanted one at a time into the recipient area. In the area of the donor, the donor skin is precisely sutured, which results in a barely noticeable scar. Depending on the level of technical competency and expertise of the team doing the FUT session, the grafts formed may either be mini grafts (grafts containing between 4 and 8 hairs) or micro grafts (grafts containing between 1 and 3 hairs).
The result is going to be permanent in the hair follicles that are going to be transplanted.
The patients can resume their normal duties the following working day and they can exercise in one month
